Terrific Tuesday

Today is my catch up day! I've been sooo busy since school started i've had absolutely no time to blog. Today I took my written test in core. I made a 94. Tomorrow is my first cut on a person, a mens cut, and the day after that is my practical test. Friday I have an interview with Sam and Saturday is my last day of core, the high heel marathon and we're going to the comedy club.
I've cut my hours at the hotel back, but i still work on sunday and monday, the two days i don't have school. and i've been working out hard, everyday. I've lost weight too! I bought new pants saturday and they are two sizes smaller than the last pair of pants i bought back before school started in Feb.
I still curate my team bnr too and our teams have grown alot the last couple months. But I'll Blog about that on My X Factor blog later.

Today, in core, I rocked triangular graduation. Then i did an hour of cardio, made fresh corn on the cob and started working on my lookbook. I even did laundry.

AH AGAIN!

I've been super busy. Last week was texture week in core. we rolled perms and went over relaxers. Needless to say, I wont be getting my hair relaxed, much to my dismay.why can't breaking down the basic structure of your hair then reforming those bonds with chemicals ever be good for it? why is my hair so curly? why can't i have plain straight hair?
Next week is color week! I love color already. I was good at rolling perms but I LOVE COLOR. So i'm excited about that. I've made a friend or two and I've been working out alot. Between school, working out and trying to keep up with etsy I have no spare time that i don't spend on like survival stuff i.e sleeping, eating and bathing.
I havent shed a tear over daniel at all this month. And today I was almost trying to, I opened the heart shaped box I put my wedding bands and engagement ring into looked at all the jewelry he ever gave me and didn't shed a single tear. I'm going to call my lawyer tomorrow.I need to be made of steel to move forward on this divorce thing.I'm not yet, but I will be very very soon.
I'm getting to the point now where I Really do not ever want this to happen again. I could be content to never love again

Sunday Boring Sunday

I've been trying to stay entertained here at work today. It's been pretty dull, except for when people are rude to me, that's always loads of fun. But I came in, because they pay me to and I now need the money to get to and from school. I loved school last week, i learned a lot. I made a few new friends and met some great girls. It was a crazy busy week and I can't wait to start the next one. I have to get through today and tomorrow first though. And there is ever so much to do especially Laundry wise.
Unfortunately after i spent the better part of the am trying to fix the stapler, it's still a mess. I can't get the little bit of a piece of a staple that's hung up in it out.

School Daze

I started school at Xcell Tuesday. Tuesday was long and dull. It was orientation. We spent the day going over rules and signing paperwork. I came home utterly exhausted. I still managed to get ninety minutes of cardio in that day and did my laundry.
Wednesday was sort of discouraging because we did braids, french, fishtail, and one other i cannot for the life of me recall currently. I wasn't super great at it. I was pretty good at Fishtail though.
Today, My fave day of the week, we worked on curl settings. we did Italian Top and Side Bang curl settings and I'm awesome at it! I had a great day! I can't wait for tomorrow!

Tomorrow is my first day of school. Im a bundle of excited nerves. Anxious dreams may fill my head as tomorrow i start a new chapter.

Thor's Day

I Love Thursdays! And on this particular Thursday I sure did get a lot done. I opened the bnr at 8 am and started training a new curator. We kept the bnr open all morning and then I went and took a tour of the xcell school in hoover. I smiled the whole time I was there. It took about an hour and I had really made up my mind about attending school there but i drove past Virgina College in Homewood.
Then I went to the Y in Greystone and joined the Y! So I can swim and work out even when it rains!
After that I came home and made Pork Chops and barely managed to open my bnr at 7pm. We had three sales. And i filled out my Fafsa forms. Now it's bath time! I'm so tired and so happy!

More Changes

I got up yesterday totally disappointed in myself because i had intended upon opening my bnr early and training Alison of http://www.etsy.com/shop/justquillin to curate. But it was 10:15 when I woke up and I knew it was already too late to attract any morning sales. So I got up, got dressed and went for a thirty minute walk around the neighborhood. While I was walking I decided that the best thing I can do for myself is get back in school.

I came home, took a shower and got an order ready to go out. I went to the post office and then target.

When I came home I started doing research on Birmingham area Beauty schools. And by 4pm I'[d spoken to a recruiter from the Xcell Paul Mitchell school in Hoover. Thursday I'm supposed to go meet with an advisor at 2:30 and take a tour. Today I'm filling out my fasfa to get a grant  And Feb 21 classes start. I may have to find another job that'll work around my school schedule better but....I'm super excited.

I opened the bnr last night. we had two sales, etsy is so slow. 

Starting Over

I hate doing this, but after months and months blogging elsewhere: Blog.com suspended my blog no warning, no reason given. It's just under their lock and key. So, I'm starting anew here. I couldn't call it notes from LesleyLand as I wished, But letters from Lesleyland sounds just as good, if not better.
There's not a lot going on. I'm at work right now, bored. 
I suppose this is really really fitting, new life, new blog address. New Ideas.
